John Gravett has been a professional photographer for over 20 years and is the photographic partner of Lakeland Photographic Holidays, the foremost photographic holiday centre in the country with around 300 guests on an annual basis. On a weekly basis, John guides photographers of all ages and abilities through landscape photography in the Lake District, demonstrating a range of photographic techniques to master the art of photography. John is recognised as one of the leading photographic tutors in the country, and is a regular contributor in the photographic press, as well as exhibiting both in the UK and internationally.

Gail has been a keen club photographer for 20 years and achieved her LRPS in 1991. She is also an Honorary life member of Edmonton Camera Club.

Gail was a senior executive with BT, her first degree is in Biotechnology and she has a Masters degree in Telecoms and Business Management . She is now is responsible for the catering, administration and smooth running of LPH.

Gail has completed, with distinctions, a Certificate in Professional Cookery specialising in vegetarian cooking. She has become involved locally and is now a governor with the local primary school. She is also trained as a first responder in the Braithwaite area.

Gail is now getting involved with the digital side of photography .
